Attention glasses
Yair Ghitza, Deb Roy

Why do we have so much trouble finding our keys? One problem is that we often forget where we have already looked, and repeatedly search the same places over and over. To address this problem, we are developing a wearable attention aid that remembers where the user has recently looked, and places a virtual spotlight over parts of the scene that have yet to be explored. When switched on, the device augments the users short term memory, and guides visual attention to unexplored parts of the search space.
