You are invited to the Camera Culture group's open house!
Join us this Friday Sep. 10 at 5 pm in E14-474 (Media Lab) for the Camera Culture group's open house to welcome new MIT students. We will have hands on demos, prototypes, interactive gizmos and videos of recent projects PLUS food and drinks.
We conduct multi-disciplinary research in modern optics, sensors, illumination, actuators, probes and software processing. The goal is to create an entirely new class of imaging platforms that have an understanding of the world that far exceeds human ability and produce meaningful abstractions that are well within human comprehensibility.
Can you look around corners without any device in the line of sight?
Can you convert thin LCD displays into 3D cameras?
Can you conduct eye exams on a smartphone?
Can you perform CAT Scans with a headband/waist-belt?
