Roberto Aimi, Opera of the Future

In the Opera of the Future group, we develop new ways for people to create and perform music. Although the ultimate product of our work is music and sound, we almost always make sound by creating electrical audio signals to drive a speaker. Since much of our work involves collaboration with traditional (acoustic) ensembles and performers, one of the challenges is to find ways for the electric and acoustic sounds and methods to work together.
