Mar 09 13 Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Roy Thomson Hall	Premiere of "A Toronto Symphony" Speaker: Tod Machover TSO Music Director Peter Oundjian leads the world première of A Toronto Symphony: Concerto for Composer and City on March 9 at 8:00pm. Safra Foundation Center for Ethics at Harvard University, and a professor of law at Harvard Law School. Prior to returning to Harvard, Lessig was a professor of law at Stanford Law School (where he was founder of Stanford's Center for Internet and Society), Harvard Law School (1997-2000), and the University of Chicago Law School. Lessig clerked for Judge Richard Posner on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals and Justice Antonin Scalia on the United States Supreme Court. view more ›

Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum Why Design Now? is the fourth installation in the National Design Triennial exhibition series launched by Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in 2000. The Triennial provides a sample of contemporary innovation, looking at what progressive designers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and citizens are doing in diverse fields and at different scales around the world. Included are practical solutions already in use as well as experimental ideas designed to inspire further research.
