OPERA: ELECTRONICS AND ORCHESTRATION

Modern digital audio mixing consoles are nothing but computers with the user interface of an old style analog mixer, with the possible addition of an LCD screen. These new mixers offer an incredible array of new features, that before required large amounts of external gear. The main limitations these consoles have is controlling these features. Changing parameters for things like sound spatialization, or effects requires scrolling through different menus, making it quite difficult to control all the desired parameters.

With the MMM, control of many parameters can be mapped to different gestures.
