Assignment Description: Use the cutting tools to make something without adhesives/fasteners, that uses as many different materials as possible.
My project: The yellow acrylic Adirondack "throne". This project may eventually become a beverage-aware cupholder, triggering some behavior when a cup is placed on the chair.
The chair is entirely press-fit - see the "gapper" photo and coreldraw file to see my test-pieces. These were used to figure out the exact size the holes should be in CorelDraw in order to fit snugly together. (BTW: 1/8" yellow opaque acrylic: .114")
