Assignment 10: 3D input
For this assignment, I played with the 3D scanner to scan in my face and stitch together a 3D model. After scanning from a number of positions and stitching, I ran a clean and decimation on the final registered image. In general, I was very impressed with the software and resulting models I could produce. Here's a screenshot (the resulting picture has some unfilled spots, due to the fact that I had to scan my head myself without help and probably ended up moving more than I should have...also, the system seems to interpret dark spots as simply no input regions):
