Assignment 1:  Design and Model a 3D Object

For this assignment, I chose to model a hookah, a water pipe used to smoke flavored tobacco that is popular in the middle east.  The tobacco is put in a small bowl at the top of the hookah, with a piece of red-hot charcoal on top.  The tobacco smoke is drawn down the length of the pipe through water, which cools down the smoke as well as removes some immpurities.  The smoke then passes through a flexible tube with a mouthpiece on the end to the smoker.

The particular pipe I modeled is a single user pipe.  Here are some pictures from different angles:
