Protel99SE Installation

Where is the software?

The software can be found at \\milliserver\resenv\software\Protel99SE. You will need the whole folder. You may want to copy it to your local drive before installation.

How do I install the main software?

Just double-click on setup.exe in the protel~1 folder and follow the instructions. When it asks for a license number, select the floating license box. Media-Labbers please e-mail Ari Benbasat for a license number. You do not have to install the examples, SIM99 or PLD99.

What else?

Also install Service Pack 6, which is in the same folder. The hole size editor is very useful when sending files to AP Circuits, but is not required.
