THE PHYSICS OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Description:

This web site is associated with "The Physics of Information Technology," which is a class taught at the MIT Media Lab by Prof. Neil Gershenfeld, and is also an upcoming book. This class is a survey of the underlying physics of all types of information technology, ranging from semiconductor circuits to optics, radio, electronic display media, magnetic recording, and even quantum computing. From this web site you can view class projects that MIT students have done, or if you are a student, you can also add or edit your own class project here.
