MIT Media Lab Alumni: Making A Difference
Making a Difference
MIT Media Laboratory
20th Reunion Recap

On the evening of Thursday, October 20 through the afternoon of Friday, October 21, the Media Lab celebrated its 20th anniversary by hosting an alumni gathering focused on the theme of "Making a Difference."

This was an opportunity to catch up with old friends and faculty, meet the current crop of students, and learn about the latest research under way at the Lab. And the best part—someone else demoed!

As part of the program, we not only focused on research being conducted at the Lab, but also looked back—and forward—to the work many of you have been carrying on since graduation; work that has made a difference in the world. To make sure that we included efforts you thought were important, speaker panel nominations for fellow alumni whose work is "Making a Difference" were solicited.
