John Maloney is a staff researcher in the Lifelong Kindergarden group
at the MIT Media Lab. His primary focus is Scratch,
a programming environment for kids ages 8-18 at Computer
Clubhouses and similar after-school computer centers. Scratch allows
kids to create and program animated stories, games, and interative art
projects.
