We have a nifty cake printer - it can print out edible pictures which you put on top of your cake. Cool, but how much more can we do with this technology?!
Most intriguing is the idea of "edible stickers/upc codes" which could replace the present annoying little ID stickers on fresh produce. Or perhaps stickers which change color when a melon is finally ripe. Of course, the application ideas can go on and on. "Edible tagging" is an interesting problem which has piqued interest.
