Matthew Daniels

Dr. Matthew Daniels works in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the office of the NASA Administrator. His principal areas of focus include U.S. space programs, deep space exploration, and artificial intelligence. He is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown, where he teaches on space security and exploration, and an affiliate at MIT's Media Lab and Stanford's Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC). Previously he was an engineer at NASA, where he worked on spacecraft designs and new projects for the director of NASA Ames in Mountain View, CA. Matt received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in engineering from Stanford, a B.A. in physics from Cornell, and was a science fellow at CISAC.
