The MIT Media Lab screens "Sweetwater" with the Boston Film Festival and artists from the film
The MIT Media Lab and the Boston Film Festival will collaborate for the third time to host a free screening for the MIT Community and the public on September 22 at 7pm. For 2024, BFF and Media Lab are screening the film "Sweetwater" which tells the story of the racial integration of the NBA with a focus on the story of Nathaniel "Sweetwater" Clifton. This event at the MIT Media Lab is hosted by Danielle Wood, MIT Media Lab Associate Professor of Media Arts and Sciences, MIT Associate Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics, MIT Faculty Lead for Major in African and African Diaspora Studies, and Director of the Space Enabled research group. After the screening, Prof. Wood will join a dialogue and audience Q+A with Director Martin Guigui, Actor Everett Osborne, and Actor Jeremy Piven.
