A new era requires new paradigms, new, emergent ways of thinking. Technological change is evolutionary, it changes the world alongside its own advancement. The core of the work we do at sAIpien is to establish the successful norms and principles that will lead the charge out of siloes and into a more generous, transparent, and scalable future.
We see only one perspective.
Our own.
This is the lens we bring to bear on the world.
We know what it’s like to be ourselves, but do we know what it's
like
to see the world through the eyes of someone else?
We want to live in a world where AI expands our worldview.
It shows us what else the world might look like, how else we might be able to think.
We want to live in a world where AI is a lens to see our own world better.
With more clarity, more intelligence, more transparency, more empathy.
Because when we find new ways to think, we find new ways to work together
and collaborate more effectively.
At our core lie three three major frameworks.
The five pillars that must be true for building any human-centered AI product.
The infrastructure that needs to be in place in order for networked innovation to occur. A revisiting and reworking of the original set of agreements that gave us interoperable tools and modern communication architecture.
An updated set of principles that guide the usage and development of AI products, recognizing that leaps forward in automation have fundamentally changed the way we engage with our technological systems,
We do not over-promise. We use accessible language to explain what it is our technology does, and why it matters. We are clear-eyed about the dangers, but optimistic about the benefits.
We are not afraid to build credibility through expertise. We use the MIT brand when we need to convince, but otherwise we let our work and our people speak for themselves. Tonally, this means we allow for some variation in voice depending on the scientist.
We connect our ideas, which can feel large-scale, systemic, and technologically intimidating, and show, not tell, how they affect a user or user group’s real life. We tie the macro to the micro through clear storytelling and powerful precedents.
Trust comes from shared understanding. Speak peer-to-peer and minimize jargon. Give your customers and room to participate, even if they are yet to be experts. We should be speaking, non prescriptively, in a way that guides them towards AI literacy.
Our central tenet is the creation of cohorts to share information. This is the message we need to drive home most urgently: the rising tide lifts all ships. We can all succeed together, but only if we truly work together. Our messaging should lean towards unexpected similarities and cross-overs in problem spaces, while our tone should veer always towards points of convergence.

We aim to amplifying our collective intelligence
with human-centered AI.
