After the Media Lab, Guillaume was involved with several venture capital-backed startups, working on topics as varied as Internet video and RFID.  He also had his own software development consulting company for almost 10 years.  He ended up working full-time for one of his clients, Software Advice, as CTO.  In March 2014, Gartner acquired Software Advice - then about 120 employees - and he has been working there ever since.  Guillaume's current work in the Gartner IT organization is centered around enterprise architecture, cloud, customer relationship management, communication tools and artificial intelligence.

How did your experience at the Lab influence your next step?

The Lab really gave me a taste for entrepreneurship, and the value that you get from working with a team of people from various backgrounds.
