Ekaterina Kormilitsyna is a Research Assistant and Graduate Student with the Centre of Bits and Atoms at the MIT Media Lab and interdisciplinary Bioartist. Her CBA research focuses on ethics and sustainability as well as a the design of global sustainability tools. She also works on the Future Worlds Pillar Project of the Media Lab and Earth Mission Control.
Her other artist practice focuses on network infrastructures, material mythologies and interspecies futures; working anthropologically with communities around the world on sustainability and communal practices and global open-source biology spaces.
