A research team including Fluid Interfaces group members Nataliya Kosmyna and Pattie Maes, alongside collaborators, received the Best Poster Award at the 17th IEEE International Conference on Wearable and Implantable Body Sensor Networks (BSN 2021) for their presentation of the paper "Assessing Internal and External Attention in AR using Brain Computer Interfaces: A Pilot Study."

This conference is sponsored by IEEE-EMBS to address the challenges in the emerging sensor medical/healthcare systems and networks. BSN 2021 was co-organized with the BHI 2021 (IEEE International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics). The joint program (BHI-BSN) featured world-renowned speakers from academic and research institutes, government agencies, and industry.
