Estimated Event Service Fees / Work Order Costs

In addition to the room rental fees, there will be service charges for renting/moving furniture, custodial assistance, etc.  If you are working with a limited event budget, place the Atlas work orders as soon as possible and request an estimate. The Department of Facilities will work with you to help you achieve your goals in a cost effective way.

Re-Set Fees

An Atlas work order is required to arrange seating and other furniture for the event, even if E14/E15 seating and tables are used for the event.  The charges listed below are estimates only.  

Regular hours:  Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm;  $90/hour

Evenings / weekends / holidays (OT):  all hours outside of those listed above; $135/hour
All overtime hours are subject to a four (4) hour minimum:  $540

Small event

Description:  Usually one room.  Moving a few tables and chairs, opening/closing the air wall, light set up and reset.

Time required: 
(1) regular hour,  $90
(4) overtime hours, $540

Medium-sized event

Description:  One or two room set up and reset for about 100 people.  Usually a lecture or banquet seating with a reception.

Time required:
(2) regular hours, $180
(4) overtime hours, $540

Large event 

Description:  Three or four rooms with attendance in excess of 150 people.  Usually a lecture and banquet table seating.

Time required:
(4) regular hours, $360
(4) overtime hours, $540

Custodial Services

The charges listed below are an estimate for basic custodial assistance during an event.  Charges may double depending upon service needs.  Weekend / evening / holiday charges are a four hour minimum.

Small event

Simple custodial cleaning: empty trash / recycling / compost; vacuum and spot clean the carpet as needed; and clean and restock the restrooms.

Time required:
1 - 2 hours, $38/hr of service
$76 total

Medium event

Same services as those provided for the small event, but also includes restocking the restroom and periodic cleaning during the event as needed.

Time required:
2 - 4 hours, $51/hr of service
$204 total

Large event

Large events will require custodial services during and after an event.  The full-time custodian will offer the same services as the small event but on a continuous basis, including vacuuming and mopping the floors, as well as an overnight carpet cleaning.

Time required:
8 - 11 hours, $51/hr of service
$561 total
