The MIT Center for Art, Science + Technology (CAST) has announced projects for the 2025–26 academic year. Among those recognized are members of the Media Lab community:
- Catherine D’Ignazio, an alum of the Civic Media group and current professor at MIT DUSP, received a Faculty Grant for her project Amazonian Calendars: Indigenous Data Visualizations.
- Ana Rajčević, a research scientist with the Biomechatronics group, has been named the Dasha Zhukova Distinguished Visiting Artist for her project Exploring embodiment through animal-inspired neuroprosthetics.
- Jordan Rudess, a collaborator with the Responsive Environments group, has been named the Michael Koerner Distinguished Visiting Artist for his project Jam_Bot: Exploring the Potential of AI in Live Collaborative Musical Performance.
