The MIT Summer Research Program (MSRP) seeks to promote the value of graduate education; to improve the research enterprise through increased diversity; and to prepare and recruit the best and brightest for graduate education at MIT.  The program works to increase the number of underrepresented minorities and underserved (e.g. low socio-economic background, first generation) students in the research enterprise.

Interns can conduct research anywhere at MIT, including the Media Lab. Meet the Media Lab interns from 2015 and 2016.
