PhD students Patrick Chwalek (Responsive Environments) and Jocelyn Shen (Personal Robots) are among the recipients of the Harold Horowitz (1951) Student Research Fund awards for 2024.

Established in 1999 through the generosity of alumnus Harold Horowitz AR ’51, the fund makes awards on an annual basis to one or more students, graduate or undergraduate, enrolled in a degree program in the MIT School of Architecture and Planning. The award recipients are selected based on their academic achievements and dedication to their graduate research works.
