Richard The, an alum of the Design Ecology group, has been inducted into the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) for 2023. He follows in the footsteps of AGI members associated with the Media Lab and MIT, including Zach Lieberman, John Maeda, Muriel Cooper, and Jacqueline Casey.

Richard is currently an Assistant Professor for Interaction Design at Parsons School of Design (The New School), and was recently appointed Program Director for the MS Data Visualization program at Parsons. 

AGI membership is awarded through nomination and international peer jury approval, reflecting ongoing contributions to the field of design and visual communication.
