Working with leading neuroscientist Richard Davidson and the Healthy Minds Institute, we are developing objective biomarkers to interpret a person's wellbeing while they interact with our custom Teddy app on their phone. We aim to identify gold-standard objective behavior metrics, such as facial and speech features, to capture dynamically changing well-being and neurocognitive processes. The Behavior, Biology, and Well-being (BeWell) Study is a clinical trial involving more than 1500 participants who engage in a research-based mobile mindfulness and meditation experience, the Healthy Minds Program.
Our recent analysis reveals that speech timing and prosody, voice quality, linguistic sentiment, self-referential pronouns, and smiling-related facial action units are significantly associated with depression severity. Check the link bellow:
