On August 6, Ramesh Raskar, David Kong, Frank Moss, and other experts participated in Responsible Data in the Time of Pandemic: Hands-on Tutorials, part of the Summer 2020 Responsible Data Summit hosted by the Responsible Data Foundation.
These sessions focused on tools for privacy-aware contact tracing, including Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) signals and the Google/Apple Bluetooth Exposure Notification API (GAEN). The program concluded with a discussion between Ramesh Raskar and Dawn Song, a professor at UC Berkeley and the founder and CEO of Oasis Labs.
