MIT Aeronautics and Astronautics professors Paulo Lozano, Danielle Wood, Richard Binzel, and Sara Seager are interviewed by Prof. Dava Newman about the future of space exploration at "Apollo 50+50" event— AeroAstro's March 13, 2019 symposium celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

The MIT symposium highlighted the development of tiny thrusters to power miniature spacecraft; an effort to enable wider access to microgravity missions; an MIT student-designed mission (REXIS) that is currently analyzing the near-Earth asteroid Bennu; and TESS and ASTERIA, satellite missions that are currently in orbit, looking for planets and possibly, life, outside our solar system.
