AI and the Creative Arts
On June 5, join a global community of educators, researchers, and artists for the 4th Annual Day of AI celebration at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The event marks the launch of the AI + Creative Arts curriculum—exploring how artificial intelligence can inspire creativity and responsibly shape the future of art and education.
Day of AI is a free, hands-on curriculum of lessons and activities designed to introduce K–12 students to artificial intelligence (AI) and how it shapes their lives. Launched at MIT in 2021 by researchers at MIT RAISE (Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education), the program aims to prepare students of all backgrounds and abilities to thrive in an AI-powered world. Designed for educators with little or no tech background, the curriculum is Creative Commons–licensed and accessible to all. Activities are tailored by age group (elementary, middle school, high school) and can be delivered in 30-minute to 1-hour blocks.
In response to rapid global adoption, Day of AI became an independent nonprofit in 2024 while continuing to collaborate with MIT RAISE to expand its reach and impact.
