Description

We present both hardware and software design principles to increase the long-term utility of tabletop systems in small work groups by supporting the capture and recall of group meetings. Our project, MemTable, supports a variety of contexts—brainstorming, decision-making, event-planning, and storyboarding—and records the history of events during meetings in order to present a vision for recall that will extend to browsing and searching, visualizing work patterns, and Web integration of co-located meeting activities.
