Can XR and AI ever be "green"?
As part of the NewImages Festival at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris, this session brings together XR artists to explore ecological futures of the field.
This session asks whether XR and AI can ever be “green”, and looks at concrete methods to shrink footprints across the whole lifecycle of a project. XR professionals will share inclusive and ethical production practices and climate‑positive use cases where XR replaces high‑carbon activities rather than adding to them.
