I did my PhD and Postdoc at MIT, researching at the MIT Media Lab Fluid Interfaces Lab and Harvard Medical School Center for Sleep and Cognition. While at MIT I co-founded an ongoing Symposium on Dream Engineering, created and co-taught the MAS.S63 Engineering Sleep and Dreams class, was TA for the MAS.S65 Cognitive Augmentation class, co-founded the Hotmilks Foundation Art Collective, and was the Creative Lead for MIT Hacking Arts. I became part of the BrainMind Collective, a member of Sci Foo, a member of the Generism Collective, and was a Research Affiliate at Harvard MetaLab. I served on the MIT Center for Art, Science and Technology Selection Committee,  on the Sleep Science Collective for Supermoon Capital, on the Advisory Board for Boston NPR, and on the Board of the Harvard Medical School Center for Law, Brain and Behavior.

 My scientific work has been shown in Science, Nature, NPR All Things Considered, the American Psychological Association, National Academy of Sciences, ConCog, Harper's, Sci Foo...my artistic work has been shown at the Boston MFA, V&A Museum, SFMoma Openspace, Studio International, Google Arts & Culture, Beijing Media Art Bienniale, Poets & Writers, Transmediale...my technology work has been shown at the World Economic Forum, Make Magazine, MIT Technology Review, Hacker News, Harvard Medical Magazine...my policy work has been covered in the National Law Review, Science AAAS, Discover Magazine, NPR, Harvard Law School's Petrie Flom Center, Aeon, The Times of India, MacArthur Justice Center.
