Cassandra Overney

Cassandra is a second-year master’s student at the Center for Constructive Communication. Her research interests involve applying user-centered design to create communication tools and spaces that improve human connection in fragmented communities. Some of her ongoing research projects include adapting the Local Voices Network (LVN) platform to gather community feedback on student assignment policy changes and designing a digital support tool to help people facilitate small-group conversations. Cassandra recently graduated from Olin College of Engineering with a degree in computer science. Outside of research, she enjoys baking, hiking, and reading.
