After graduating from The Media Lab, David worked for a new media start-up and then a film restoration and effects laboratory in New York. During the dot-com boom he was a member of the innovation group at Viant, an internet consulting firm working with clients including Universal Music, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Diageo. After working as a freelance web developer and videographer for a while, he returned to graduate school, earning an MFA in Communication Design from MassArt. Currently, David is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Art + Design at Northeastern University where he teaches a variety of Media Arts courses.
