Dimitra Dimitrakopoulou is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Journalism and Marie Curie Global Fellow with a joint appointment in the Laboratory for Social Machines at MIT Media Lab and the University of Zurich. Dimitra studies the quality and efficiency of scientific information around childhood vaccination. Currently, she is hosting facilitated dialogue groups with parents in the greater Boston area to create a space in which different perspectives, concerns and values on childhood vaccination are shared. Her research is funded by the European Commission under Horizon 2020, European Union’s flagship initiative for Research & Innovation (2019-2023).
