Francesco Marconi is an affiliate researcher at the Laboratory of Social Machines at MIT Media Lab working on applications of machine learning in journalism. He is also media strategist at the Associated Press where he co-leads artificial intelligence and automation efforts. Marconi is a fellow at Columbia University's Tow Center for Digital Journalism and held academic appointments at Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society.
