Fengjiao Peng

Fengjiao Peng is a masters student in the Affective Computing group.  Her work involves machine learning, HCI, and affective-feedback systems. She built systems to generate emotionally evocative animated stories for mood and depression intervention. She designed a machine learning algorithm to detect subjective pain from facial expressions.

She also worked on the SNAPSHOT project for emotion prediction, and helped create a mobile app to improve patient adherence to daily surveys.

Fengjiao is from Sichuan, China, with a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Hong Kong.  In her free time, she is often found tinkling with computers to make animation, writing, and cooking.
