Jian Gao

Jian Gao is a Visiting Student and Research Assistant in Collective Learning group at the MIT Media Lab, hosted by Prof. Cesar A. Hidalgo. Meanwhile, he is a Ph.D. Student in CompleX Lab at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), under the supervision of Prof. Tao Zhou. He received his B.S. degree in Information and Computing Science from UESTC in 2012. Currently, his research interests focus on understanding phenomena in social and economic systems through empirical and theoretical analysis.
