Golda Nguyen

Golda Nguyen is a PhD student and NDSEG fellow in the Aeronautics & Astronautics department at MIT. As part of the Space Enabled research group, her research interests focused on the development of telemedicine tools and systems to support behavioral health in space and on Earth .

Golda received her SM in Aeronautics & Astronautics from MIT in 2020, working in the Human Systems Lab with Professor Leia Stirling on wearable inertial sensors for rehabilitative care applications. She also completed her BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2017. She has participated in a variety of aerospace internship experiences at SpaceX, Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin, NASA, and Pratt & Whitney, and she is a proud alumna of the Brooke Owens Fellowship and the Matthew Isakowitz Fellowship. Golda is also actively engaged in STEM outreach through the MIT Graduate Women in Aerospace Engineering (GWAE) group.
