After the Media Lab, Stephen became the Technology Director of the House Consortium in MIT's Department of Architecture doing research/teaching. That led to his current role of Associate Professor at Northeastern University where he conducts research and teaches in mhealth. Stephen is also starting a doctoral program in personal health informatics.
