Senior Software Engineer at Google
Since the Media Lab, Ishwinder has taken a meandering path through the world of software engineering, starting in consumer electronics, with a large amount of time in HFT and hedge fund world, with a recent move to Google in the Maps PA. She is currently a senior software engineer at Google.
How did your experience at the Lab influence your next step?
I remember my Media Lab experience almost as a celebration--what can happen if we never say "why?", but only "why not?". It enthused me and enriched me. That sprit of innovation and courage is what I have tried to carry with me long after the Media Lab days are over.
