After graduating, Josh moved to Oakland, CA to become a developer for the Citizen Engagement Lab, an accelerator for political online organizing groups. He was promoted to the Director of Technology, and grew the team from one to five developers.
After a few years there, Josh left to start his own consulting practice. He have worked with national and international organizations to build software to enable distributed activism and political change.
Presently, Josh runs his own consulting business, Spacedog XYZ.
Don't limit yourself to corporate technology jobs. There is so much need in the non-profit and political market for smart people to build good tools.
