Research Assistant
  • Biomechatronics

Lucy is an PhD student in the Department Mechanical Engineering at MIT. Prior to joining Biomechatronics, Lucy completed her BS and MS degrees at MIT in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on precision machine design. Before returning to MIT for her doctorate, she spent two years as a Mechatronics Engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) building and testing flight actuators.

In the Biomechatronics group, she is currently working on the mechanical design and control of a low-build-height, novel robotic ankle-foot prosthesis for users with lower extremity amputation.
