After graduation, Gauri founded Nanda Home and brought Clocky, the alarm clock that runs away, to market selling over 1M units worldwide. She is the CEO and CO-founder of Toymail, a venture-backed smart toy company selling in Best Buy and Target retail.
How did your experience at the Lab influence your next step?
The Media Lab made me think like a designer. It was an environment that affords critical thinking and problem solving for any problem. The interdisciplinary and hands-on approach is incredibly important to becoming an entrepreneur.
Use your time to build what you want to. It may open up new channels you never expected.
