Rebekah works on the biology team running the plant research projects in OpenAg Food Computers. Before joining the Media Lab, she received her masters degree in Applied Plant Sciences from the University of Minnesota. There, her research focused on approaches to increasing biodiversity in Midwest agricultural systems, using crop models to predict impacts of these systems on water quality. She received her B.S.  in biochemistry from Biola University and leverages her background in both applied and basic sciences to be a part of the future of plant and agricultural research.
