Riley Steindl

Riley Steindl is a first-year graduate student in Mechanical Engineering performing research with Space Enabled. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019. Riley has worked for The Phantom Laboratory, a medical device company in Upstate NY, where he helped design and develop a low-cost medical imaging phantom for use in developing nations. 


Interested in product design, Riley has done work on multiple design projects and has done research into design evaluation metrics and feedback throughout the design process. 


With Space Enabled, Riley hopes to use his research to foster more responsible use of space technology and resources so that it may continue to be a safe and equitable domain for people and organizations  around the world.
