I am passionate about tinkering pedagogy and learning through play. Over a decade ago, I joined a small team at the Exploratorium in San Francisco that defined Tinkering as a pedagogical approach. The engaging tinkering materials I create are now used in museums, libraries, schools, and other learning settings all over the world.
My current research interest is in playful learning activities that bridge the digital and physical realm with LLK's OctoStudio mobile app and other innovative digital tools.
I work on interactive learning design for museum spaces, libraries, and schools worldwide and offer impactful professional development workshops for educators.
