Vik Parthiban

Vik Parthiban is passionate about teams and technologies that shape how people interact with digital information and the physical world. His work has been featured on MIT, Wired, TEDx, and The University of Texas at AustinHe recently completed his Masters at the Media Lab Object-Based Media group. Currently a Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab, Vik is building novel human-computer interfaces and holographic technology that hope to push AR/VR and Space technology forward. 

Vik led the MIT Hyperloop II team to 1st place in the USA for Elon Musk’s SpaceX-Hyperloop and The Boring Company, where he drove development on the world's first autonomous electric hovercraft. He previously led a high-profile project for the Magic Leap One Advanced Photonics division, oversaw development on the Tide® PODS™ manufacturing team at Proctor & Gamble, and investigated DLP© Automotive display technology for Texas Instruments. Vik received his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
