Xingbang is a postdoctoral associate at Media Lab. He received his PhD degree majoring in mechatronics and a B.E. degree in material forming and control engineering, both in Beihang University, Beijing, China. His research interests include biomechanics, biomimetics, bio-inspired robotics, mechatronics, exoskeleton and rehabilitation robotics, etc. He is now working on the hip joint project with the Biomechatronics Group.
