Tao Yang is a researcher, an engineer, and an entrepreneur. His work focuses on 3D reconstruction and machine learning. Before visiting MIT Media Lab, he was a Ph.D. student at the mechanical school at Xi’an Jiaotong University. He is also a co-founder of Chishine3D Co., Ltd., which has received more than ¥50 million investment. (Updated in November 2018)
