Yasith Samaradivakara is a freestyle technologist, researcher, and engineer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a background in Information and Embedded Systems, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence. His research explores Behavioral AI, Personalization, and Proactive Interactions, with the goal of making always-on wearables and systems feel connected, unobtrusive, and accessible, ultimately enhancing everyday well-being.
Over more than a decade, he has worked across research labs, startups, and large technology companies to build and deploy hardware, software, and AI-based systems. His research has been published in leading venues, including CHI, EMNLP, IUI, UIST, and Augmented Humans, and recognized by Prototypes for Humanity, the Meta Impact Innovation Awards, and Google Research.
